Everything you need to know about flying with Eurowings. Check-in deadlines, boarding times, and expert tips to make your Eurowings flight smooth and stress-free.
Standard German hub airports (Cologne/Bonn, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Vienna) follow the maximum range of Eurowings' listed timelines, i.e., check-in counters may close at the later ends: 45 min domestic/European, up to 90 minutes international long-haul.
Arrive at the airport minimum 90 minutes before short-haul and 2 hours before long-haul flights, even if checked in online.
Self-service kiosks are available from 2 hours before departure until 40 minutes prior for short-haul/medium-haul flights at eligible airports for faster processing if you missed online check-in.
Follow and respect your assigned boarding group as marked on your boarding pass for a smoother process. If you prefer boarding earlier, consider purchasing 'Priority Boarding' in advance.
