Public bus Route A1 runs frequently to the Al Zahiyah downtown area in about 45 minutes for just AED 8 (~$2 USD). Taxis cost AED 74-80 (~$20-22 USD) during the day and slightly more at night, plus an AED 15-20 airport surcharge, with a journey time of 27-40 minutes. Ride-hailing apps like Uber and Careem offer competitive rates.
